Dealing with anxiety and depressed episodes is never easy, especially when you are dwelling on loads of thoughts at once over and over, like you're on a roundabout and not knowing which exit to take.
Painting or doing anything creative does help me sooth my soul, and calms my brain and thoughts process's. But sometimes nothing works, and I am left feeling even more depressed and even more anxious. So what do I do.... Who do I turn to......
When I feel all hope is lost, and I loosing sleep of a particular thought, I make myself a worry chart.
What is that? You might be asking, well a worry chart is a chart you make of a thought that you can't stop thinking about, and you write down why you think this thought is true, and on the other side write down what is actual fact and surprisingly it helps. Let me explain in detail.

So here I have made an example of a worry chart.
As you can see the (why I feel this is true) coloumn shows less then the (what is actual fact) coloumn, which helps you look at your thought in more perspective. Showing you that what you are thinking about, is 90% of the time is just in your head, and you have way more postives in your life.
I find this process very effective for me when I am dealing with a panic attack or a thought that won't budge, also as I am someone who needs to see on paper the facts.
I hope this helps.
